Refreshing Slimming Tea Drinks
Tea is the second largest drink or liquid consumed by people all over the world, water being the first. For the Chinese, Japanese and the English, tea is a staple in their everyday meals. There are people who drink their tea in different ways: tea with milk, cream, sugar, or honey, hot or iced. But what is important is that tea is truly a drink with many health benefits and with its most publicized capability to help in weight loss, there is a need to learn how to make refreshing slimming tea drinks.
Refreshing Iced Oolong Tea
Ingredients:
1 liter of fresh water
10 grams Oolong Tea
Lemon or lime slices
Ice cubes
Procedure:
- Boil the water and then let it cool until lukewarm or until the temperature is around 95oC.
- Put the Oolong tea leaves in a teapot. Do not throw the tea leaves after using the tea mixture because you can still use them for 3 to 4 times more.
- Pour over the cooled water and let steep for about 10 minutes.
- Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
- Prepare a pitcher of ice cubes and pour in the cooled tea mixture.
- You can put some slices of lemon or lime in the pitcher or upon serving.
Slimming Oolong Tea
Ingredients:
4 tsp of Oolong Tea
3 cups of freshwater
Procedure:
- Boil the three cups of fresh water.
- Put the Oolong tea in a teapot and pour the boiling water on to the leaves.
- Let steep for 3 minutes.
- Serve in a tea cup and let it cool a little before drinking.
Oolong Energy Tea
Ingredients:
3 tsp Oolong tea
3 cups of fresh water
Ginseng powder (optional)
Procedure:
- Boil the three cups of fresh water.
- Put the Oolong tea and ginseng powder in a teapot and pour the boiling water on to the leaves and powder.
- Let steep for 3 minutes.
- Serve in a tea cup and let it cool a little before drinking.
